アンデスの小さな村に住む少年シストゥは、新学期の初日に風が運んできた映画の広告を手にする。導かれるままにたどり着いた先は、移動映画館。そこで初めて“映画”を知ったシストゥは、たちまちその物語に魅了される。この日を境に、週に1回“語り部”として、観た映画の内容を村のみんなに伝えるシストゥ。だがある日、移動映画館は忽然と姿を消してしまう。大好きな場所がなくなり、シストゥの映画愛はどこへ向かうのか？やがて彼らの物語は、思いもよらぬ方向へ転がっていくー。

Following where it leads, he discovers a traveling cinema. There, he experiences “movies” for the first time and is instantly captivated by the stories they tell. From that day on, he takes on the role of a “storyteller,” sharing the plots of the films he has seen with the entire village once a week. But one day, the traveling cinema vanishes without a trace.
