沖縄の伝説的写真家、石川真生が自身の初期作品を振り返りながら、当時の様子を語る自伝的ドキュメンタリーとなっている本作。写真家としての石川真生のルーツを辿りながら、ファインダーを通して語られた「愛」、そして作品の背景となった歴史、政治、人種差別、それらを乗り越えるパワーを写真とともに映し出していく。
